Routers are devices that connect networks together. You will have at least one router on your network, maybe even two. In schools, routers connect your network to the BGfL, and from there the Internet. If your router isn't connected or working correctly you will not be able to access the Internet.
If you have no access to the Internet and you suspect that your router is not working, first check that the router is connected properly (use the following tables to help you identify what should be connected where). You could also try switching it off for 30 seconds, then switching it back on. After a couple of minutes try browsing the Internet again. If you still cannot browse the Internet (try different admin and curriculum workstations) contact the Education IT Helpline.
