RSA Reporting & Compliance Manager has four major components that can integrate with other RSA Security solution deployments as well as new deployments to provide state-of-the-art reporting capabilities satisfying many regulatory requirements.

Event Collector

• Gathers runtime event logs and administrative event logs from other RSA Security products
• Stores the above event logs to database
• Configured using a separate properties file
• Data sources can be either data driven or event driven and can include any outside database field, file or custom code call

Report Scheduler

• Automatically generates reports at scheduled intervals
• Fully customizable using built-in or custom-made report templates
• Supports digital signing of reports
• Logs the report generation activities

Reporting Console

• State-of-the-art charting and reporting, with full drill-down, filtering and reporting customization capabilities
• Fully configurable (database, credentials for generating policy reports, etc.)
• Displays built-in report templates
• Allows for the creation of new report templates
• Report saving capabilities in the database
• Supports signing digital of reports
• Report loading capabilities for reports saved in the database
• Report printing capabilities
• Report exporting capabilities in a variety of file formats
• Logs the report generation activities (logs who takes the report and when)

Compliance Database

• Report templates, data generated from running report templates and asynchronously captured log events from other RSA products are all stored in a centralized database.
• The database can be replicated and protected for added security
• An existing or new database can be used
