The R&D Centre undertakes research in selected niche areas in the frontiers of technology with a view to provide the cutting edge to P J NETWORKS. It forms an integral part of the company’s medium and long-term strategy. In addition, R&D also develops special hardware and software products which form the building blocks for the turnkey solutions offered by P J NETWORKS in various application areas in core sectors. Some of the products developed have found acceptance as standalone products.

R&D is located in the P J NETWORKS Centre, which is a novel combination of traditional exteriors and hi-tech interiors. A Building Management System installed at the Centre monitors and controls facilities such as lighting and air conditioning through computers. Equipped with state-of-the-art HP, DEC, SUN, COMPAQ and NCR platforms, the P J NETWORKS Centre is also the nucleus of P J NETWORKS’s export activities.
